Barcelona: Comunicat dels Blokes Fantasma [CAT-ENG]

El passat dia 13 d’abril és va dur a terme una operació policial ordenada des de l’Audiència Nacional a requeriment d’un jutjat alemany. Durant la qual es van escorcollar tres inmobles i és va detindre a una persona sota la acusació d’haver participat en una expropiació a un banc a Alemanya. En el marc d’aquesta operació és va produir l’escorcoll dels Blokes Fantasma que va durar dotze hores. Durant l’operatiu es van retenir més de 25 persones, tres d’elles nens menors de 5 anys; no és va permetre l’entrada de cap advocat ni la presència de cap testimoni durant l’escorcoll de les zones comunes. També es van cometre diverses irregularitats en els seus propis procediments durant els registre dels pisos particulars. Com a conseqüència de l’operatiu va haver-hi nombroses destrosses, es van confiscar tots el dispositius electrònics (ordinadors, mòbils, USB, play station…) a més de diners en efectiu, negant-se a donar rebut de les coses confiscades a cap dels escorcollats.

Des dels Blokes Fantasma, malgrat que les destrosses i irregularitats siguin inherents a qualsevol escorcoll en les cases d’aquells que no som part —ni volem ser-ho— de l’establishment, no volem deixar d’assenyalar el doble raser utilitzat per la seva justícia depenent de qui sigui l’escorcollat. Han aprofitat per escorcollar diversos espais d’habitatge individuals, més enllà de les zones comunes, repetint la mateixa forma de funcionar en altres operacions com han sigut Pandora o Piñata.

Volem mostrar tot el nostre suport a la persona detinguda i a tot el seu entorn amb independència dels càrrecs i de l’evolució del procés judicial. Reivindiquem aquelles formes de reapropiació que tinguin com a objectiu recuperar allò que permanentment ens treu el capitalisme, sigui una casa o els beneficis dels bancs. No oblidem que si uns fan expropiacions és perquè uns altres acumulen beneficis o els mitjans necessaris per viure.

Volem agrair sincerament a totes aquelles persones que es van mobilitzar i organitzar durant tot el dia, ja sigui donant suport tant davant dels Blokes Fantasma, dels altres habitatges i de la comissaria de Les Corts, o organitzant i/o participant en la manifestació de la tarda. Tot el nostre agraïment a les persones que ens van donar un cop de mà tant a refer les portes destruïdes, com a netejar i reparar allò que va trencar la policia, fent possible que poguéssim obrir l’espai ahir mateix demostrant, una vegada més, que quan diem que «si ens toquen a una, ens toquen a totes» és molt més que simples paraules.

Llibertat immediata de la companya empresonada a Madrid.
Aturem el procés d’extradició; solidaritat amb totes les persegudes.
Mentre hi hagi misèria, hi haurà rebel·lió.

Communique from Blokes Fantasma following the police raids on 13th April.

On Wednesday 13th April, the Catalan police raided three buildings in Barcelona, on a warrant ordered by the Spanish Audiencia Nacional (a special court in Madrid) at the request the German Courts. One person was arrested, accused of having participated in a bank robbery in Germany. As part of this operation the police raided Blokes Fantasma and searched the building for 12 hours. More than 25 people were held in the house during this time, three of them children under 5 years old; lawyers were not permitted to enter and no witnesses were present during the search of communal spaces. Many irregularities also occurred during the search of private apartments. The operation resulted in destruction to the house. All electronic devices (computers, mobile phones, USB devices, play stations) were seized, as well as people’s cash, and no receipt was given to any of those searched for their seized property.

Such destruction and irregularities are inherent in any raid on the homes of those of us who are not – nor want to be – part of the establishment. As Blokes Fantasma we would like to highlight the double standards applied by their justice, depending on who is being searched. They took advantage of this raid to search the homes of many individuals, not only communal spaces and those of individuals named in the warrant, just as they have done in other operations such as Pandora or Piñata.

We also want to express our support for the woman arrested and all those close to her, independent of the charges she faces or how the court case evolves. We defend those forms of reappropriation that aim to recover that which capitalism is permanently taking from us, whether that is an abandoned building or the profits of the banks. Let’s not forget that if some steal it is because others accumulate profits and control the basic resources that we need to live.

We would like to sincerely thank all those who mobilised and organised during and after the raids, showing their support outside Blokes and the other houses being searched, and at the police station in Les Corts; and organising and/or participating in the demonstration in the evening. We are grateful to the people who helped to rebuild the broken doors and clean up and repair what the police had destroyed in the house, making it possible to open the social space the next day and demonstrate, yet again, that when we say «if they touch one of us, they touch all of us» it is far more than just words.

Freedom for our companion currently jailed in Madrid.
Stop the extradition; solidarity with all those persecuted.
Wherever there is misery there will be rebellion.
